Our Dallas client, a growing oil and gas company, is looking to hire a contract accountant to tackle an 8 week project.

Duties:
- Utilize Excalibur and Docvue to review old invoices to determine new opportunities for reclassification from operating expenses to capital expenses.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Accounting to confirm expenditures.
- Develop auditable documentation to support reclassification entries.
- Support the purchasing and accounting team to oversee this project.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Previous oil and gas experience is a MUST.
- Previous use of Excalibur software.
