Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Corporate Controller. They are seeking a hands-on, out-of-the-box thinking Corporate Controller who will manage the Accounting function and develop and maintain controls and procedures in a challenging, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
ME / YE Closings
Bank Recons
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll
Preparation and review of Financial Statements General Ledger Preparing and Entering Adjusting Journal Entries
Supervise Accounting department staff of 8-10
Manage and balance multiple business ventures
Executive Senior Management Committee - member and participant
Evaluate accounting and internal control systems to assess and make recommendations for improvement.
Spearhead efforts for ongoing training and development regarding staff

Qualifications:
MBA, CPA required, Degree in Accounting preferred.
8+ years of general accounting/audit experience
8+ preparation of general ledger account reconciliations required,
8+ preparation of financial statements
Experience applying complex accounting principles
Excellent skills with Microsoft Suite, in particular MS Access.
Self-motivated individual capable of successfully executing multiple projects concurrently.
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Exceptional organization skills & attention to detail.
Hands-on direct management leadership
Ability to work with financial systems to perform analyses
Enjoys fast-pace environments
Must use initiative to consistently exceed job expectations in order to grow within the company.
